GERMAN SCIENTIST COMPLETES INTERNSHIP AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Professor of Fraunhofer Institute of Ceramic Technologies and Systems Muhamad Saqib completed his business trip. The scientist arrived at Amanzholov University a month ago in the framework of the program of attraction of foreign specialists in Kazakhstan.

-My main purpose of arrival is cooperation with SIC “Surface Engineering and Tribology”. I was intending to exchange experience and knowledge with researchers at the university, as well as adopt their experience for my own research,” said Muhamad Saqib.

During a month the guest from Germany gave lectures on the course “Scientific and technological bases of destruction of biocomposite coatings”, consulted doctoral students in the direction of biotechnology and bioengineering, conducted with them the necessary experiments for their doctoral dissertation.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems was founded in Dresden in 1992. Its staff conducts applied research and development of high-performance technologies and materials in the field of technical ceramics.
