BIG INTERVIEW WITH SUCCESSFUL ALUMNUS RUSLAN ISRAILOV

Ruslan, please tell us a little about yourself?
-I am a graduate of Amanzholov University, specializing in “Physical Education and Sports”. I graduated from my favorite alma mater in 2016. However, to this day I am an active observer and participant of university life.

How do you remember the educational process and how was your student life organized?
-From the first days I was active and very enthusiastic. By the way, I advise all freshmen to do the same. It will open a lot of opportunities in front of them. In 2014, I initiated the creation of the Youth Affairs Committee and became its chairman. We actively promoted and defended the interests of students, and the university administration supported the young people’s endeavors. I approached my studies responsibly, studied for excellent marks and even passed my exams early. During studying I published more than 60 scientific articles and methodical manuals. In addition, I regularly participated in scientific and practical conferences and competitions.

What happened after receiving the long-awaited diploma?
-After completing my bachelor’s degree, I immediately entered the master’s program. I decided to get another degree in my specialty. By the way, I completed studying for a red diploma. This is one of my humble victories. While I was a master’s student, I was lucky enough to undergo an international scientific internship at the Moscow Pedagogical State University. There I studied the topic of the formation of the need for sports, as well as conducted the most real lectures. At the end of the internship I was offered a job in the capital of Russia, but I returned to my native Kazakhstan to be useful to my people.

And further…?
-I can safely be called an eternal student. After receiving my master’s degree, I decided to do my doctoral studies at St. Petersburg State University. I am proud that I was able to perfectly defend my doctoral thesis and continue my scientific activity. Thanks to this, I have visited many foreign universities, so I can say with confidence that our Amanzholov University is one of the most competitive universities with highly qualified teachers.

What do you do now?
-Now I work as a teacher of physical training and teacher-organizer on educational work in school №17 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city. I passed educational practice in this school and even then showed myself from a good side. On the fourth course during the fair of vacancies the director of educational institution offered me official employment. I gladly accepted. I have been working here for eight years now.

What professional achievements are you most proud of?

-Every victory is important to me, because I put effort, knowledge and experience into all my endeavors. This is not only my labor, but also my parents and teachers. For example, in 2022 I became a member of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of RK, and since 2023 I am a deputy of the city Maslikhat and a member of the commission on social sphere and social protection of the population. I contribute to the development of youth policy. Last year I became the owner of the title “The best teacher”.

In conclusion …

-All my victories are the merit of my university. I am sure that the most positive sides of my character were formed and strengthened in the walls of the Amanzholov University. Communication skills, healthy competition, determination, discipline and ambition are well trained at the university.
