COURSES FOR TEACHING ASSISTANTS WERE HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

In East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov in the framework of the project “Competence Center for psychological and pedagogical training and methodological and technological support of children with special educational needs” were organized professional development courses on the theme “Development of professional competencies of teacher-assistant to support children with special educational needs” in cooperation with the Resource Center for Professional Training and Professional Development.

It should be noted that the course is included in the list of educational programs for professional development of teachers, approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is taken into account in employment.

During studying teachers of secondary schools acquired practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

-In recent years, schools have introduced teaching assistants who help children with special educational needs not only in the educational process, but also in social adaptation. This position is in demand, so professional development is relevant, – said the head of the Center for Continuous and Inclusive Education “Dana bala” Alima Alipova.

-I have been working as a teacher-assistant for a year already. It is both hard and interesting. This course helped me to develop new skills. I especially liked that there were a lot of practical lessons for the participants, – shared course attendee Symbat Talgatkyzy.

Note that at the end of studying all participants received certificates.
