THE DAY OF KNOWLEDGE WAS CELEBRATED IN AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

In Amanzholov University was held a solemn rally for freshmen dedicated to the beginning of the academic year. During the festive event students were familiarized with the rich history and traditions of their alma mater, and senior students delighted the new stream with dance and vocal numbers.

In addition, the rector of the university Mukhtar Tolegen awarded the best employees and students with letters of appreciation and money certificates in the amount from 150,000 to 300,000 tenge. In the list of awardees: specialists of the admission committee, the best teachers, holders of “Altyn Belgi” insignia and talented activists.

-Today I am happy to welcome our freshmen and wish them great success in their new path. You have made the right choice, because Amanzholov University has increased the number of students up to 10 000 people only for the last five years. The employment rate of our graduates is an impressive 98%. Currently, we are implementing more than 100 educational programs. All this demonstrates our progressiveness and exclusivity, – said the head of the university.

-While helping to form the contingent of Amanzholov University, I became even closer to my university. I am sure that the experience gained here will definitely be useful for me. Reward for our efforts from the rector inspires us to work even harder, – said the student of educational program “Kazakh language and literature” Amina Zhumakan.

It should be noted that this year more than 2450 people from different regions of the country entered the university. Among them are about 1200 students on the state educational grant, more than 50 holders of the title “Altyn Belgi” and winners of international Olympiads, 70 masters of sports and candidates for master of sports, 26 winners of international and national competitions.

According to the freshmen, the Day of Knowledge became a landmark event for them, which inspired them to start successfully.
