WORKSHOP: GERMAN LANGUAGE TEACHING METHODOLOGY

A workshop ‘Versteckte Grammatik’ was held at S. Amanzholov EKU within the framework of the grant received from Goethe-Institut for holding events. The workshop was attended by the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation, the Department of International Co-operation of the S. Amanzholov National University, as well as German language teachers from schools and universities of the city.

The main purpose of the event is the methodology of teaching German language, popularisation of German language, study of history and culture of one of the most famous and economically developed countries of Europe.

– Today was an important event for all German language teachers of our city, because on the basis of EKU we had an opportunity to learn about modern methods of teaching German. I believe that this is a really significant event, as it is not often that German teachers can improve their qualification without leaving the city. We are looking forward to further seminars for our development,’ said one of the participants.

During the workshop, the participants not only learnt effective methods of memorising vocabulary, but also actively participated in discussions and practical tasks.
