AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HOSTED THE OPENING OF THE PEDAGOGICAL RETRAINING COURSE.

S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University launched an 8-month pedagogical retraining course for persons with higher non-pedagogical education.

At the opening of the course was attended by a member of the Board – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Nurlana Alimbekova, Director of the Resource Centre for Professional Training and Continuing Education Bakytgul Isebayeva, as well as faculty.

Nurlana Alimbekova made a welcoming speech:

– Currently, there is a high demand for pedagogical staff of various profiles in the country. In this regard, Kazakhstan pays special attention to educational programmes in the field of pedagogical direction. During the last four years within the framework of the national project ‘Strengthening the potential of teacher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan’ 30 innovative educational programmes have been developed, – she noted.

It is worth noting that EKU was among 17 universities that participated in the development of these innovative programmes. Starting from 2024-2025 academic year, more than 25 innovative educational programmes in the field of pedagogical sciences, including the programme ‘Pedagogical Retraining’ will be implemented.

At the end of the event, the trainees were familiarised with the academic calendar and course schedule. The training will take place in a face-to-face format in the educational building No. 1, in classrooms 218 and 229.
