FOREIGN STUDENTS LEARN THE KAZAKH LANGUAGE

Since October this year, foreign students who arrived at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University under the academic mobility programme have started studying the Kazakh language. As part of the course, they have successfully completed the first series of assignments aimed at mastering the state language.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, students from Tajikistan, South Korea and Hungary have shown a desire not only to deepen their knowledge of their speciality, but also to master the Kazakh language. By learning the language, they have the opportunity to better understand the rich culture and deep history of the Kazakh people.

Students who have come to the university for further training and education have commented that they are honoured to learn the Kazakh language. In addition to Kazakh, they are also engaged in learning other languages, which helps to broaden their linguistic horizons.

It is important to note that within the framework of international agreements with universities in South Korea, Tajikistan and Hungary, Amanzholov University received 19 students from the Sotim Ulugzode Tajik International University of Foreign Languages, two students from Szeged University in Hungary and two students from Gyeongsang National University in South Korea. This project not only promotes intercultural exchange, but also strengthens friendly ties between the countries.
