PEDAGOGICAL RETRAINING COURSES ARE HELD AT EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

Since October 1,  S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University Resource Centre for Professional Training and Continuing Education has started the ‘Pedagogical Retraining’ courses for people who have received higher (non-pedagogical) professional education.

The programme of pedagogical retraining is designed for people who do not have pedagogical education but wish to teach in schools. Persons with a higher education in a relevant field can enrol in the programme.

– A large number of visitors come to the teacher retraining courses. They will get new opportunities from S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. If a professional from a certain branch cannot teach in schools because of the lack of teacher status, then through this course he or she can teach in educational institutions,’ said Bakytgul Isebayeva, Director of the Resource Centre for Professional Training and Continuing Education.

At the end of the course, trainees undergo final certification and receive a special certificate allowing them to work as teachers in schools.
