FORUM OF GRADUATES OF THE USSR AND RUSSIAN UNIVERSITIES

Astana hosts the Forum of Graduates of Soviet and Russian universities working in education and health care in the CIS countries. The event is attended by 150 representatives from 11 countries, including Alima Alipova, Head of the Centre for Continuing and Inclusive Education ‘Dana bala’, Araylym Raisova, Specialist of the Career Centre ‘Professional Upgrading’ of , Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

The main goal of the Forum is to strengthen co-operation between graduates of universities of the USSR and Russia, as well as to exchange experience and joint initiatives in the development of education and health care in the CIS countries.

-I am glad to be here today and to see so many talented and motivated people united by one goal – to improve education and healthcare in our countries. The Forum will provide participants with a unique opportunity to establish professional contacts, exchange ideas and practices, and work together on new projects in the field of education and health care,’ said Alima Alipova, Head of the Centre for Continuing and Inclusive Education “Dana bala”.

The forum programme includes round tables on ‘Cooperation in the field of education and healthcare between Russia and CIS’ and ‘Scientific and educational partnership, joint research and development of industrial and educational ties’. In addition, professional development courses are envisaged. In particular, ‘Management in Higher Education’ and ‘Management in Healthcare’.
