TRANSFORMATION OF PUBLISHING ACTIVITY: MEETING OF EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVES WITH ‘EDP HUB’. S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a meeting with the representative of “EDP Hub” LLP Gulzhauar Bikzhanova and deans of higher schools, as well as teaching staff of the university, where the possibilities of cooperation in the field of publishing were discussed.

“EDP Hub” LLP is a developer of the national educational platform E-UNI.KZ, designed for training of highly qualified personnel, as well as a publisher of educational and scientific literature oriented to educational institutions.

During the meeting they discussed issues of co-operation in the field of publishing and inclusion of educational and scientific publications, as well as periodicals produced by the university on the National Educational Platform E-UNI.KZ. They discussed the possibility of publishing new textbooks and reprinting previously published materials, as well as participation in the project to create a book ‘Leaders in Education’ for university rectors. The prospects of co-operation in the field of digital educational resources were also considered.

– This lecture is of great importance for teachers as it will significantly increase their publication activity. In addition, there is a great opportunity to transform one book into two, which opens new horizons for scientific research and educational projects,’ said Gulzhauar Bikzhanova.

It should be noted that “EDP Hub” LLP co-operates with about 30 universities in Kazakhstan, which opens up new opportunities for the development of the scientific environment and training of qualified personnel.
