ECOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTH SAVINGS

The university hosted scientific and methodological seminar “Ecological development and health saving” within the framework of the grant project “Modelling of spatial and temporal dynamics of health indicators of the population of East-Kazakhstan region with the use of GIS-technologies”. The seminar was attended by students, masters, doctoral students, teaching staff, as well as specialists of “Kazgidromet” of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan for East Kazakhstan and Abay regions.

The participants presented research results on environmental safety, risk factors of modern society, environmental technologies, and public health promotion.

The workshop influenced the development of effective strategies to improve public health and environmental protection.
