STRIVING FOR THE BEST: EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY RANKED AMONG THE BEST UNIVERSITIES IN ASIA 2025

A new ranking of the best universities in Asia QS Asia University Rankings, where S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University ranks 621-640 in 2025, has become known.

This issue counts 985 universities from 25 countries and territories. The biggest competition for Kazakhstan universities are universities of India, China, Japan and South Korea.

-We have achieved these results thanks to the high quality of our educational environment, its regular improvement, attraction of talented students, clear audit of advantages and disadvantages, scientific productivity and inclusiveness. Our indicators are growing every year and this should be an even greater motivation for us,’ said East Kazakhstan University Rector Mukhtar Tolegen.

It should be noted that the position of the best universities in Asia for the coming year includes 35 Kazakhstan universities, which is an absolute record of the country’s higher education in its history.

This is evidence of systematic work to improve the global competitiveness of Kazakhstan’s universities.
