FIRST PLACE IN THE INTERNATIONAL VIDEO COMPETITION

Students of the third year of the EP “Translation studies” took the honorable first place in the International Video Contest. The annual event was organized by representatives of N.I. Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University. The theme for 2024 was “University in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”. The competition was attended by universities from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and others.

A total of 38 videos were submitted to the contest, and the organizers selected eight of them. In the demonstrated works were evaluated the originality of the idea, the content of the video, presentation of the material and artistry, English speech in the frame. After watching each clip, the participants had the opportunity to give their assessment of what they had seen. The teaching jury noted the variety of original ideas, technical findings, good quality of filming.

Thus, according to the jury’s decision, the winner was the student team of the alma mater.
