FINAL LECTURE ON FINANCIAL LITERACY AT EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

Within the framework of the project “Karyzsyz qogam” on the initiative of the party “AMANAT” for students of East Kazakhstan University were organized courses on financial literacy. During the training the mentor of the project Ermek Zhumagulov noted that “Karyzsyz qogam” is not just an educational project, but also an important step towards the creation of a financially literate society, which is able to resist fraud and financial traps.

In the course of training were considered issues of family budgeting, investment tools, government programs of grant funding, business lending, etc.

Today the final session was held, where the speaker was Mensara Dosumbayeva – regional director for accumulation insurance of JSC “Life Insurance Company ‘FREEDOM Life’.

-Financial well-being begins with simple steps – awareness of your expenses, ability to plan and set financial goals. I am sure that with each such step we become more confident and successful. The project “Karyzsyz qogam” gives citizens the necessary knowledge that will help them not only to choose the right path in the management of personal finances, but also to get out of the debt hole, if it exists, – said Mensara Dosumbayeva.

In conclusion, Mr. Yermek Maratovich presented certificates to the participants who had successfully completed the full course of training. These certificates entitle them to receive further consultations and support on financial issues, which will allow them not only to consolidate their knowledge, but also to further develop their financial literacy.
