FORUM OF RECTORS OF UNIVERSITIES OF CENTRAL ASIA IN KYRGYZSTAN

Today East Kazakhstan University Rector Mukhtar Tolegen participates in the Forum of Rectors of Central Asian universities in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous region “Transformation of Central Asian universities in the context of global challenges”.

The objectives of this forum are integration of universities of Central Asian countries into international and regional cooperation, digitalization of education issues, and sustainable development.

It should be noted that the panel sessions were moderated by rectors of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

The panel session “Digital Education – the main vector of development of modern higher education” was moderated by Mukhtar Tolegen together with the Rector of I. Razzakov KSTU Mirlan Chynybaev Koichubekovich.

At the Forum the partner universities had an opportunity to sign memorandums and agreements on cooperation. This was a new stage in the long-lasting cooperation between East Kazakhstan University, Osh State University and I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University.

At the end of the event, the final Declaration of the Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Central Asia was adopted.
