STRENGTH IN UNITY: HOW THE LARGEST UNIVERSITY IN THE EAST STRENGTHENS INTERNATIONAL TIES

Strengthening of interrelations with leading universities and research centers around the world is one of the priority tasks of the largest higher education institution in EKR. Today S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University has more than 200 active cooperation agreements in the field of education. S. In order to strengthen the partnership, the delegation of the Kazakhstan university arrived at the International Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Central Asia, held in Kyrgyzstan, the main purpose of which is to expand regional cooperation.

As part of the working trip, representatives of East Kazakhstan University visited a number of leading universities of the brotherly country. In particular, the I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University and the largest Osh State University, where about 40 thousand students study. The guests from East Kazakhstan were presented the activities of faculties, material and technical base and living conditions in student campuses.

-With Osh State University we came to several agreements. Now they are our strong partners in the implementation of the academic mobility program. From now on, students and teachers of East Kazakhstan University can undergo training and internship in one of the prestigious and distinguished universities of beautiful Kyrgyzstan. In addition, we will realize joint scientific projects, which will be a significant contribution to the development of both countries, – said Rector of East Kazakhstan University Mukhtar Tolegen.

I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University is also on the list of the university’s long-term partners. The memorandum signed between the rectors envisages mutual support in national and international ratings, exchange of students and teachers, as well as active research activities.
