FRESHMEN TALENTS-2024 GALA CONCERT: WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The gala concert “Freshmen Talents” was held, which gathered the best dance and vocal numbers of students from all Higher Schools. Last night, numerous freshmen once again delighted the audience with numbers that, in the opinion of the jury members, deserved more attention. In particular, melodious kүi performance on the dombra, dynamic modern dances and exciting vocals of young talents.
This year’s annual competition was held under the motto “Strong Youth – Healthy Society”. So students managed to demonstrate their commitment to the ideas of a healthy lifestyle and active citizenship.
-You created a real art that filled the hall with energy, strength, inspiration, ideas. I am proud that such talented guys study at our university. We will always support the creative potential of young people and create opportunities for you to express yourselves, – Rector of East Kazakhstan University Mukhtar Tolegen addressed the activists.
Traditionally, the gala concert ended with the long-awaited awarding of prizes and awarding of winners. This year “the best of the best” jury members called the students of the Higher School of Business and Law. They won the golden cup and a cash award of 300,000 tenge.
-Our emotions cannot be described in words! It is necessary to live it! We tried not only to maximize the theme of the competition, but also to show that our university is a great platform for the creative development of all students, – said Yedige Slyamgaliev, a student of the Higher School of Business and Law.
The second place went to the students of the Higher School of Humanities, who were awarded a monetary certificate for 200,000 tenge. The honorable third place and 100 000 tenge was won by dancers of the Higher School of Pedagogy.
It should be noted that students of the Higher School of Pedagogy took most of the nominations. Thus, Mansur Kairat won the nomination “Golden Voice”, singing the popular song “Impossible”. Kamila Orazgalieva was recognized as the “Best Presenter-2024”.
