INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR “THE PROBLEM OF DEVELOPMENT OF THINKING ACTIVITY DURING PROBLEM SOLVING IN PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, MATHEMATICS”

Within the framework of the cycle of methodical seminars of the department on organization of educational and methodical work an international methodical online seminar was held, which was attended by teachers of schools of Belarus, Kostanay region, East Kazakhstan region, Ust-Kamenogorsk city and teaching staff of Amanzholov University. The participants of the seminar discussed the most important topic for modern education – the development of thinking abilities of students through solving problems in physics, chemistry and mathematics.

The participants proposed effective approaches and methods that help to develop logic, analytical thinking and creativity in schoolchildren. As the organizers note, the teachers’ presentations were informative and diverse, covering various aspects of the learning process in elementary school and high school. The speakers spoke in detail about the importance of distinguishing between types of problems and approaches to their solution, which develops students’ ability to think systematically and flexibly, about methods of forming logical and analytical thinking in junior schoolchildren through solving simple but logically structured problems. The speakers offered practical methods that help to effectively eliminate typical mistakes.

As a result of the discussion, key problems were identified and effective methods of their solution were proposed. The seminar participants noted the importance of interdisciplinary approach, application of innovative technologies and game methods to increase students’ interest and form necessary competencies.
