PRODUCTION AND AGRICULTURE: EXPERTS DISCUSSED IMPORTANT ISSUES

The Department of Biology hosted an international scientific and methodological seminar on “Technology of production of organic agricultural products”. The online seminar was attended by scientists from Russia and Ukraine.
The event became an important platform for discussion of topical issues related to the production of organic agricultural products.

Each of the speakers presented their views on modern organic production technologies and aspects of agriculture.
The seminar participants considered new methods of production of organic honey and other bee products, as well as innovative approaches to the use of functional ingredients in the food industry.

Ivan Doskach, head of the breeding center of the Institute of Apiculture named after P.I. Prokopovich, as well as president of the Association of Match Breeders of Ukraine, presented a report on the production of organic honey and other useful organic bee products, sharing his experience and achievements in this field.
Head of the laboratory of beekeeping Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution FANZ NORTH-EAST, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Brandorf Anna shared innovative technologies in beekeeping.

The trainees received valuable practical recommendations from leading experts, which will help them to apply the knowledge gained in their professional activities in the future. In addition, the event was an excellent platform for exchange of experience between practitioners and theorists. It strengthened scientific and educational ties between universities and research institutions.
