EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY STUDENT RECOGNIZED AS “THE BEST STUDENT OF 2024”

Student of the educational program “Physical Education and Sports”, successful taekwondist Bekarys Bekenov received the nomination “Best Student of 2024” in the annual competition of talented youth of Kazakhstan. The athlete presented his successes and achievements of active student life. In particular, numerous sports victories, which require a lot of labor.

-To all competitions I approach with great responsibility: morning and evening trainings, work on technique, sparring, development of endurance, analysis of tactics of potential rivals. Psychological preparation is also important — the ability to keep cool at critical moments. This time everything was different. I had to show myself worthily not only from the sporting side. I think I did it,” says Bekarys.

After receiving a first degree diploma and a certificate of the best student, Bekarys will continue to develop in sports. According to him, taekwondo is not only about physical strength, but also about discipline, self-control and continuous personal development.

-My plans now are to pass the winter session well and restore my body after a busy competition season. And later I will continue to represent Kazakhstan on the international arena and, perhaps, I will share my experience with younger athletes.
