REGIONAL OLYMPIAD IN SPECIAL PEDAGOGY IN HONOR OF THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF EP “DEFECTOLOGY”

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the opening of the specialty “Defectology” in S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a regional Olympiad on “Special Pedagogy” was held.
Pupils from schools of the district and the city took part in the first stage, which involved writing an essay on the topic “I choose the profession of a special teacher”. According to the decision of the competition committee, 14 pupils passed to the second stage. It consisted of special situational tasks aimed at revealing the skills of analyzing complex and structured problems, the ability to effectively and confidently establish communication.

According to the results of the competition, the Grand Prix was won by Dilnaz Imangazina, a student of secondary school No. 9 in Altai, who received a university grant for the educational program “Special Pedagogy”. The winner of the first place was Polina Melentieva from secondary school №4 named after S. Nurmaganbetov. The second place was shared by Aruzhan Erkesh from secondary school No. 9 of Altai and Amina Abitova from Shanyrak multipurpose gymnasium. The third place went to Shyrai Kanybekova from secondary school named after K. Damitov, Ekaterina Tsareva from supplementary educational school №29 and Polina Bakhtina from multipurpose secondary school №37.
All prize-winners were awarded diplomas and participants were awarded certificates.
