A MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COMMITTEE WAS HELD AT THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND TRANSLATION STUDIES

A meeting of the Academic Committee was held at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation. It was attended by the director of lyceum №44 named after Oralkhan Bokey Zh.K. Nazarbayeva, director of secondary school №10 of Ridder Berdygozhaeva R.K., director of educational center “Best” Aimukhambetova A.A., director of language center “Best” A.A. Ridder Berdygozhaeva R.K., director of the educational center “Best” Aimukhambetova A.A., director of the language center “Wiedergeburt” Schumacher E.V., as well as students and teachers of the department. Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Kapysheva G.K. presented a brief overview of the educational programs and offered the members of the council to make their recommendations on the changes planned for the actualization of the curriculum.

In addition, the participants of the meeting considered topical issues. Among them are the introduction of changes in the passport and content of the EP, the formation of the list of elective disciplines of the EP “6B01703 Foreign Language: two foreign languages”, “6B02301 Translation Studies”, “7M01703 Foreign Language: two foreign languages” for the 2024-2025 academic year, the development of recommendations for amendments and additions to the EP by the project committee, as well as the adjustment of disciplines in the catalog of elective disciplines.
