ACADEMIC COUNCIL MEETING WAS HELD

At the regular meeting of the Academic Council six issues were considered. In particular, the quality of training at the Higher School of Humanities, approval of the chairpersons and composition of attestation commissions for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral specialties, approval of supervisors and thesis topics, approval of doctoral dissertation topics, professional development plan for East Kazakhstan University faculty and staff for 2025, as well as the implementation of decisions previously adopted by the Academic Council of East Kazakhstan University.

In addition, the Director of the Department of Academic Policy and Educational Programs Management Yerzhan Domalatov informed about the execution of the instructions of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on passing the Assessment of Pedagogical Knowledge by the students of graduate courses of pedagogical directions.

At the end of the meeting participants discussed the results of the international rating QS Stars, GreenMetric and the main tasks for 2025. There was also a solemn awarding ceremony of the university staff.
