VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE OF SCHOOLCHILDREN: DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENTIFIC THINKING THROUGH PHYSICS AND RESEARCH WORK

The Department of Physics and Technology held a career guidance event on the theme “Development of scientific thinking through the integration of physics teaching and research work”.

The aim of the event was to increase students’ interest in physics, enrich the content of the educational process and develop a scientific worldview. Special attention was paid to the formation of interdisciplinary links as a tool for informed choice of future profession

Within the framework of the event the advantages and difficulties of organizing interdisciplinary links in research work were discussed. The teachers of the department demonstrated ways and methods of scientific thinking development through the integration of physics and technology lessons. Examples from pedagogical and experimental activities were given, and schoolchildren had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the methods of scientific research in practical classes.

During the event, information about the specialties of the department, their features and demand in the labor market was also presented. The participants showed keen interest, asked questions and actively participated in the discussions.
