DAY OF MERCY: A TRIBUTE TO THE ELDERLY

Today within the framework of the decade “Nauryznama” in honor of the Day of Kindness students of Amanzholov University visited the Special Social Service Center in Ust-Kamenogorsk and organized a festive concert for respectable elderly people.

The event was organized by the Departments of Physics and Technology and Mathematics of East Kazakhstan University. The main goal was to pay attention to the older generation, to wish them happiness and health, to give them a festive mood.

Currently, more than 100 elderly people live in this center. During the holiday concert, students performed beautiful songs, as well as guitar and dombra numbers. In addition, students of the educational program “Technology of processing industries” prepared tasty treats for the guests.

– On the eve of Nauryz holiday we express our great gratitude to the students who found time for us, set the table and organized this wonderful evening. Your songs and good intentions lifted our spirits. As Magzhan Zhumabaev said: “I believe in youth. The future of the country – in the hands of young people. In the future, become great specialists and defend the honor of your homeland – said Tursyn Kusanova, a recipient of services of the nursing home.

– Today we came to support the elderly. To give them joy is a great happiness for us. We will always appreciate the work of the older generation and remember their services to society, – shared a student of East Kazakhstan University.
