TKA: FUTURE EDUCATORS UNDERGO A CRUCIAL STAGE OF PREPARATION

Final-year students of pedagogical education programs at EKU are actively taking part in the trial testing for the Teacher Knowledge Assessment (TKA).

— This is not just a knowledge check; it is a crucial step toward a successful career in education. The results of the TKA directly impact the employment prospects of young specialists, and our university’s graduates have consistently demonstrated a high level of preparedness, — said Rector Mukhtar Tolegen.

This year, 2,730 students are expected to graduate, including 1,296 future teachers.

For several years, EKU has ranked among the leaders in TKA results among universities in Kazakhstan. Additionally, graduates of pedagogical programs consistently rank in the country’s top five for employment rates within the first year after graduation.

— This success is the result of the dedicated work of faculty members, a strong methodological foundation, and students’ commitment to professional growth. I wish all test participants the best of luck! You are the future of Kazakhstan’s education system, and we believe in your success, — concluded the university’s first administrator.
