STUDENTS OF SHEMONAIKHA DISTRICT VISITED AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

High school students of Shemonaikha district visited the largest university in the region – S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. During the tour the students were presented the East Kazakhstan University museum, modern space for the student community – co-working center and Scientific Library named after Beibit Mamraev, which is a comfortable platform not only for storing unique books, but also for individual and group work.

– I noticed that East Kazakhstan University is very spacious and cozy. I want to enter here and work as an IT-specialist in the future, because I have already won an educational grant thanks to the Olympiad. At today’s meeting we got all the answers about enrollment and advantages of education, – said Alexey Khorev, a student of Zevakinsky complex “school-kindergarten”.

During the excursion the applicants paid special attention to the University Museum. Its head Nazym Amanzholova said that students take part in excavations at the archaeological complexes of Shilikty, Berel, Akbaur together with famous archaeologists, gaining invaluable practical experience.

– I want to enter the educational program “Russian language and literature”. Especially my mother and my class teacher were once educated here, – said Evangeline Ilyishchenko, a student of secondary school № 4 named after Shakarim.

At the end of the event, the students expressed their gratitude to the university staff, who organized a rich and informative tour of the educational institution.
