A LECTURE ON “PROVIDING SPEECH THERAPY TO CHILDREN WITH SPEECH DISORDERS” WAS HELD

A guest lecture by Nazerke Kystaubaeva, a teacher and speech therapist, Master of Social Knowledge, was held for the students of Special Pedagogy Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy. The topic of the lecture was the provision of speech therapy assistance to children with speech disorders in preschool institutions.

The lecturer explained the methods of work with various speech disorders, their prevention, as well as elaborated on the role and tasks of a modern speech therapist. According to Nazerke Kystaubayeva, providing speech therapy has a great impact not only on the development of children’s speech, but also on their psychosocial progress.

It should be noted that at the lecture students were given expert recommendations on solving psychological and pedagogical difficulties.
