A PRACTICAL LOOK AT “BODY INTELLIGENCE”

The Higher School of Pedagogy hosted a methodological seminar “Body Intelligence” for faculty and students of the Department of Sport Culture and BMT. The participants studied key aspects of bodily intelligence, mastered practical self-regulation techniques and received methodological recommendations for their work.

It should be noted that somatic (bodily) intelligence is a basic ability of a person to feel his/her body, to realize its movements and their quality.

The head of the school of bodily intelligence of Ust-Kamenogorsk Irina Kostina presented new technologies, and the head of the department of CS&BMT Ahaeva A.Sh. conducted training on body-oriented therapy. In addition, Dr. Rusanov V.P. familiarized the participants with a promising direction in physical education – sports kinesiology.

The seminar allowed to combine scientific and practical experience in the field of body intelligence and its application in training and professional activity.
