The Student Parliament

The Student Parliament, as a single body of student self–government, is a special form of initiative, independent social activity of students aimed at solving important issues of student life, developing social activity and supporting useful initiatives of student youth.

The main objectives and purpose of the student parliament:

Creating conditions for students to acquire organizational, managerial and educational experience;

Assistance in creating the necessary conditions conducive to the active involvement of students in various areas of student life at the university;

Participation in the development, adoption and implementation of regulatory documents related to university students;

Forecasting the key directions of development of events in the student life of the university;

Prevention of offenses and stabilization of the situation in all spheres of life of university students;

Informing the university management about the state of development of student life spheres

Activities related to the organization and holding of events affecting the interests of university students;

Assistance to the university administration in creating favorable conditions for students to study and relax.

The main functions of the Student Parliament:

Development, adoption and implementation of measures to coordinate all areas of student life;

Taking part in the social and legal protection of university students;

Performing other functions in accordance with the stated tasks;

The Parliament consists of the following main departments:

The activities are managed by the Chairman of the Parliament, who is the Deputy Chairman of the KDM of the University.

The Chairman of the Parliament is elected by the general meeting of university students.

The Parliament consists of representatives of each group of all departments and Higher Schools of the university, as well as the personal composition of members of Parliament. Representatives from Higher Schools are elected by the general meetings of the group's students.

The Secretary and branch coordinators are elected from the Parliament, and responsibilities are distributed among their other members.
