MEET UP “CHOOSING A PROFESSION – AN IMPORTANT CHOICE IN A PERSON’S LIFE”

MEET UP “Choosing a profession – an important choice in a person’s life” was held in S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. Vocational guidance event was held jointly with Zerdeli Educational Center. Pupils of 10-11 classes of Ust-Kamenogorsk city were presented career guidance exhibition of Higher Schools and Higher College of East Kazakhstan University. The applicants could not only get advice on admission, but also see the demonstration of subject experiments, pass professional diagnostics, interactive quests and get acquainted with the Forensic Center of the University.

During the event schoolchildren were told about the advantages of enrollment and education in East Kazakhstan University. After the young guests of the university were presented a rousing concert program.

-We hold such career guidance events every year. They have a positive impact on making sustainable and informed decisions in choosing a profession,” said Zhannel Bolatova, head of the Career Center ‘Professional Upgrading’.

-Today I learned a lot of information about each educational program. In the future, I plan to get a higher education in law at East Kazakhstan University,” shared the plans of Kamshat Alipbayeva, a participant of the event.

It should be noted that about 300 schoolchildren participated in MEET UP. Among them were those who won tours to Astana and Dubai during the drawings.
