QUALITY EDUCATION IS AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE

Within the framework of realization of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, an important place is occupied by ensuring equality and accessibility of education for all. In this matter, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is a large-scale base that ensures the development of an inclusive environment throughout Kazakhstan.

The university has a unique Center for Continuing and Inclusive Education “Dana Bala”, on the basis of which scientists develop innovative inclusive projects, students are integrated into work with children with disabilities, and special children have the opportunity to take advantage of services for health improvement.

In addition, an inclusive elementary school has been established here. Its creation allows not only to provide access to quality education for children with special educational needs, but also to form social values based on tolerance and respect.

For several years, specialists from our university have been carrying out full-scale preparatory work. At the moment we have received a license for legal activity in the field of primary education, – said the rector of East Kazakhstan University Mukhtar Tolegen.

In addition, the university is actively working on the training of teaching staff at all levels of education, realizing a continuous cycle of training specialists. This creates a system of education, in which each stage of training is logically connected with the next, and graduates have the necessary knowledge and skills for successful professional activity.

An important aspect of improving the quality of education is professional orientation and preparing young people for their future careers. In March of this year, a career guidance platform organized by the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region was held within the framework of the National Report project “Quality Education Available to Everyone”. At this event, directors of schools and colleges of the region, as well as teachers of the East Kazakhstan University Higher College presented available educational programs and opportunities for those entering higher education.

According to East Kazakhstan school and college directors, Amanzholov University has established itself as one of the most popular universities among school graduates.
