SPARTAKIADE 2025: TUG OF WAR

As part of the annual Spartakiade in S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, tug-of-war competitions were held.

In total, more than 10 teams participated in the competition, each of which was able to show teamwork and cohesion.

The judging was entrusted to the lecturer of the Department of Culture, Sports and Initial Military Training Askhad Sharapiev.

-Tug of war not only develops physical strength, agility and the ability to stand firmly on your feet, but also fosters team spirit. Such events play an important role in promoting a healthy lifestyle,” said the judge.

According to the results of the team game, the Higher School of Pedagogy won the first place. Coordination of actions, proper distribution of strength and tug-of-war techniques were the key factors of success. The second place went to the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences, and the third place to the Higher College.
