METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF PREPARING FUTURE TEACHERS FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Within the framework of the Winter School of “Academic Innovations” in S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University there was a training seminar for teachers of pedagogical specialties on “Methodological aspects of training future teachers for inclusive education”.

The speaker was Irina Matskevich, Professor of the Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, who shared with the participants her experience in the field of inclusive education. During the seminar the participants discussed inclusive ethics, the main directions of inclusive training and the peculiarities of working with students with Specific Educational Needs.

-Inclusive education is not just a trend, it is a necessity in the modern educational process. Our teachers should be ready to work with students who have different features of perception and development. It is also important to teach students of pedagogical specialties to understand that every child is unique, and the methods that work for one child may not work for another, – said Irina Matskevich.

At the end of the event, the participants asked questions and shared ideas about the development of new methods and materials that will help to better prepare students to work in an inclusive educational environment.
