FINIQ: A DICTATION ON FINANCIAL SECURITY STARTED AT THE UNIVERSITY
At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the national project — the Financial Security Dictation (FinIQ) — has officially started. The initiative is organized by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring.
The main goal of this initiative is to enhance financial literacy among citizens, prevent financial fraud, and promote a culture of protection against economic risks.
Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University fully supports this project and encourages all students, faculty members, staff, and alumni to actively participate in the dictation, aimed at fostering a culture of financial security.
FinIQ Dictation is not merely a knowledge test — it is a national-scale project designed to strengthen financial culture and responsibility among citizens, as well as to develop skills to counter financial risks.
In the context of rapid digital and economic transformations, financial literacy is becoming a key factor influencing the quality of life, family stability, and national security.
The university places special emphasis on shaping not only professional competencies among students and faculty but also their financial, legal, and civic awareness.
The Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov University emphasized that participation in the dictation is a personal contribution to both individual and national security:
“Financial awareness is an integral part of responsible citizenship. By improving our financial literacy, we strengthen the resilience of society as a whole.”
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, rightfully noted:
“Law and order are the main guarantees of the country’s development and the safety of its citizens.”
Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University invites everyone to take part in the FinIQ Dictation, test their knowledge, and contribute to building an educated, responsible, and secure society.
