The Fourth Annual Meeting of the Kazakhstan Physical Society will be held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University

NPLC ‘Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University’ and RPA ‘Kazakh Physical Society’ invites you to take part in the IV Annual Conference of Kazakh Physical Society on 4-7 June 2025 in Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The Kazakh Physical Society (KPS) holds the Fourth Annual Conference, providing a unique platform for scientific interaction, exchange of experience, and coordination of research among scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan working in physics and related disciplines at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University (Ust-Kamenogorsk).

Ust-Kamenogorsk is one of Kazakhstan’s key scientific and industrial centers, harmoniously combining rich natural and industrial heritage. The city’s developed infrastructure and unique geographical location, near natural attractions such as the Sibiny Lakes, Ak-Baur tract, Katon-Karagai National Park, and Lake Markakol, surrounded by the mountains of the Kurchum chain and Azutau, create favorable conditions for scientific research and academic cooperation.

Along with its natural wealth, Ust-Kamenogorsk has a developed industrial base represented by the country’s leading enterprises, including Ulba Metallurgical Plant, Titanium-Magnesium Combine (UKTMC), and Kazzinc JSC. These enterprises are not only strategically important facilities for Kazakhstan’s economy but also sites for advanced scientific developments in materials science, metallurgy, and energy.

The aim of the conference is to strengthen internationally recognized standards of research in physics, promote national and international cooperation, and popularise science and technology to a broad audience, especially young researchers.

The conference program includes plenary sessions, invited talks, regular breakout sessions, and poster sessions in various areas of physical sciences.

Submission requirements: papers presented at the conference should be based on the results of articles published between 2022 and 2024 in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Web of Science or Scopus databases. The abstract should be submitted on one A4 page and include the following elements: the title of the paper, authors’ names, affiliation, main text, reference list, and possibly one image. Mandatory reference to the original article on the basis of which the report is based.
