STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY VISITED THE ENTERPRISE LLP “KAZZINC”

Students of the Department of Ecology and Geography of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University visited the Ust-Kamenogorsk Metallurgical Complex, part of LLP “Kazzinc”, as part of their educational and industrial practice.

The event was organized jointly by the Department of Ecology of the East Kazakhstan Region and the Department of Ecology and Geography of the University within the framework of the national media plan dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main purpose of the excursion was to familiarize students with the monitoring and control system in the field of industrial ecology.

During the visit, enterprise specialists spoke about the key environmental aspects of metallurgical production, measures to reduce environmental impact, and the system of industrial waste management. Modern technologies and environmental management practices used for environmental protection were also presented.

According to the students, such practical activities help broaden their professional outlook and foster a responsible attitude toward environmental protection.
