EDUCATIONAL HOUR ON THE THEME “ORALHAN BOCKEY – ALTAYDYN ASKAK ZHYRSHYSY”

At the Higher College of Higher Education named after S. Amanzholov an educational hour was held on the occasion of the birthday of playwright, poet and journalist Oralkhan Bokey. This year the publicist would have turned 80 years old.

Talented writer Oralkhan Bokey made a great contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and journalism. He was recognized by the first collection of novels and stories “Kamshyger” published in 1970. He worked in the editorial offices of the youth newspaper “Leninshil Zhas”, magazine “Zhuldyz”, and also was the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Kazak Adebieti”.

During the event students were shown videos and presentations about the author’s work. It should be noted that most of his works are dedicated to his small homeland, the unique nature of Altay.
