A JOB FAIR WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

A job fair aimed at facilitating employment for graduates in the public sector was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

The event was organized by the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the East Kazakhstan Region in cooperation with the East Kazakhstan Labor Mobility Center.

The fair brought together 26 employers from the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, as well as the Ulansky and Glubokovsky districts, along with 368 university graduates of 2025. Over 300 current vacancies were presented, covering sectors such as metallurgy, construction, energy, transport, logistics, education, and healthcare.

Araylym Yesimbekova, Director of the East Kazakhstan Labor Mobility Center, noted the importance of such initiatives in shaping an active and competitive labor market:

“Today we observe high activity both from employers and young specialists. The demand for skilled personnel in the region continues to grow, and our task is to help graduates find their place in the professional environment. We closely cooperate with regional universities, including Amanzholov University, and we see that graduates are ready for real work. This year, we also invited graduates from the previous year to expand their employment opportunities,” emphasized Araylym Yesimbekova.

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University actively supports such initiatives aimed at strengthening the links between education and the labor market.

The university places special emphasis on practice-oriented training, the development of professional competencies, and equipping students with skills in demand in modern society.

The job fair proved to be an effective platform for direct interaction between employers and graduates, contributing to reducing unemployment and supporting youth employment in the region.
