DIGITAL LIBRARY AT EKU

In recent years, the process of digitizing books has become increasingly widespread. A paper book digitized into electronic format can be read from a computer, laptop or e-book reader.
The activity of EKU libraries to digitize their collections is one of the strategic tasks of the university. Thus, the B. Mamrayev Scientific Library became a participant of the project of digitization of unique materials. Anar Abdrakhmanova, head of the digitization sector of the Electronic Resources Management Service of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited the university to sign a cooperation agreement.
During the visit, the guest familiarized herself with the possibilities of the EKU library and highly appreciated the rare editions of the rare fund.
