AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, THE SCIENTIFIC AND INTELLECTUAL COMPETITION “BIOBATTLE” WAS HELD.

As part of the methodological week of the School of IT and Natural Sciences at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, the Department of Biology organized the scientific and intellectual competition “Biobattle.”

The competition aimed to deepen students’ knowledge in biology, develop scientific thinking skills, and popularize science in a creative format.

The contest consisted of three rounds. In the first round, teams presented biological topics in a creative, stage-performance format.

In the second round, participants analyzed the photographs they had taken from a scientific perspective and professionally explained natural phenomena. In the final intellectual round, students were asked specialized questions, to which they provided precise and prompt answers, demonstrating the level of their preparation.

At the conclusion of the competition, the best teams were determined, and winners and prizeholders were awarded diplomas and cash certificates. The jury particularly noted the high level of participants’ preparation and their team unity.

“Biobattle” became a meaningful platform that combined science, creativity, and intellect, and it contributed to increasing students’ interest in scientific activities.
