DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION AND PRINCIPLES OF THE NEW CONSTITUTION DISCUSSED AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY
Today, a meeting was held at Amanzholov University with directors of educational institutions from the region and the Akim of East Kazakhstan Region, Nurymbet Saktaganov. During the dialogue, current issues related to the development of the education system were discussed, and the topic of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was also addressed.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region, Yerbol Nurgaliev, and the Head of the Department of Education of the East Kazakhstan Region, Kuat Okasov. In their speeches, they emphasized that the updated Constitution strengthens the social orientation of state policy and enshrines the principle of equal opportunities for all citizens.
One of the key provisions of the new Constitution is the protection of human rights and freedoms. In the field of education, this means ensuring every child’s right to accessible and quality education regardless of place of residence, social status, health, religious beliefs, or individual characteristics.
Special attention was given to the development of inclusive education, support for rural schools, and the creation of equal conditions for all students. It was emphasized that constitutional norms provide a solid legal basis for modernizing school infrastructure, strengthening the material and technical resources, and implementing modern educational technologies.
The system of lifelong education—from preschool to professional and postgraduate levels—was also discussed. Establishing a unified educational trajectory will allow each person to continuously improve qualifications, acquire new competencies, and remain competitive in the labor market.
Focus was also placed on supporting teachers. Educators and mentors are regarded as a strategic resource for the country, and constitutional guarantees are established to protect their status and professional development.
Overall, the meeting demonstrated that the development of preschool, secondary, and inclusive education remains a regional priority and an important part of implementing the principles of the new Constitution.
