AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY STAFF DISCUSSED THE DRAFT OF THE NEW CONSTITUTION

Today, a meeting dedicated to discussing the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University within the framework of the nationwide referendum scheduled for March 15.

The event was opened by the Rector of the University, Mukhtar Tolegen, who emphasized the importance of the upcoming referendum for the future of the country. In his speech, he expressed support for the draft of the new Constitution and noted that the document opens new opportunities for the development of education and science. In his opinion, the proposed amendments will contribute to strengthening academic freedom, improving the higher education system, and enhancing scientific potential.

During the meeting, the university faculty members also shared their opinions, noting that the draft of the new Constitution is aimed at strengthening the principles of justice in society, as well as expanding the rights and opportunities of citizens.

The discussion was held in the format of an open exchange of views, during which participants called for active participation in the upcoming referendum. The university staff emphasized the importance of demonstrating civic responsibility and an active attitude toward this significant political event that affects the future of the country.
