DISCUSSION OF THE NEW CONSTITUTION: AN EXPLANATORY MEETING FOR AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY STAFF

Today, a meeting was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University to explain and discuss the draft of the new Constitution. The event was attended by the university’s faculty members, vice-rectors, deans of higher schools, staff, and students.

The meeting was opened by the Rector of the university, Mukhtar Tolegen, who emphasized that the Constitution is an important document defining the legal foundations of the state. He noted the importance of active citizen participation in discussing current societal issues and making important decisions concerning the country’s future.

During the meeting, participants were provided with detailed information about the main directions of the draft of the new Constitution and the proposed amendments. In addition, members of the university community asked questions of interest and took part in the discussion.

Throughout the meeting, participants highlighted the importance of constitutional reforms and expressed support for initiatives aimed at the development of society. The event was held in an open dialogue format, where attendees were able to ask questions and share their opinions.
