THE HORIZONS OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION ARE EXPANDING

In 2025, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University signed new agreements with a number of leading foreign higher education institutions as part of the development of international academic cooperation. These agreements are aimed at strengthening ties in education, scientific research, and academic mobility, as well as expanding the university’s network of partners in the international educational space.

In particular, the university signed cooperation agreements with Eskişehir Technical University and Pamukkale University (Republic of Turkey). Within these partnerships, plans include the implementation of academic exchanges through the Erasmus+ international program, as well as joint educational projects and research initiatives.

Additionally, the university concluded cooperation agreements with Hacettepe University, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, the University of Finance and Economics of Mongolia, Uludağ University in Bursa, Mongolian University of Education, Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University, Tomsk State Polytechnic University, National Research Tomsk State University, Ufa University of Science and Technology (Russian Federation), Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University, and Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature (Republic of Uzbekistan).

An agreement was also signed to develop academic cooperation within the Erasmus+ international program with the John Paul II University in Kielce (Republic of Poland).

Furthermore, a contract was signed with Kırklareli University (Republic of Turkey) under the Orhun academic exchange program, giving a new impetus to the development of scientific and educational ties between universities of Turkic countries. Within this cooperation, Elif Nur, a third-year student of the “Journalism” program from Fırat University (Republic of Turkey), is currently studying at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University under the Orhun academic mobility program.

Students from the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzade are also studying at the university under the academic mobility program.

Under the new agreements, plans include the implementation of joint research projects, development of student and faculty academic mobility, and organization of international conferences and scientific internships. These initiatives aim to strengthen the university’s position in the international educational space and open new opportunities for students and researchers.
