A FESTIVE EVENING “NAURYZ – TRADITIONS AND HERITAGE” WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a festive evening titled “Nauryz – Traditions and Heritage” was organized in honor of the great holiday of Nauryz. The event was hosted by the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines.

The main goal of the evening was to promote national culture, highlight the rich traditions and spiritual values of the Kazakh people among students, and strengthen respect for the national heritage.

During the event, the audience was presented with stage performances reflecting the national rituals of the Kazakh people. In particular, traditions such as Syrga Salu, Kyz Uzatu, and Betashar were artistically reenacted, showcasing their educational and cultural significance. Additionally, the festive program included the performance of the song “Zhar-Zhar” and a national dance.

The participants were able to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of the centuries-old traditions of the Kazakh people and appreciate the value of national heritage. Such cultural events contribute to increasing young people’s interest in national culture and play an important role in preserving spiritual values.
