At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a regional law olympiad was held among 11th-grade students from schools across the region. The intellectual competition was organized at the initiative of the university’s Department of Jurisprudence.
The main goal of the olympiad was to increase students’ interest in the legal field, develop their creative and analytical abilities, and assess their knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The competition brought together 11th-grade students from various schools of the East Kazakhstan region. The olympiad consisted of several stages and aimed at a comprehensive evaluation of participants’ legal knowledge, logical thinking, as well as their analytical and argumentative skills.
At the first stage, participants wrote an essay on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in Education.” This task made it possible to assess students’ critical thinking, their ability to conduct legal analysis, and to express their position in a well-reasoned manner.
At the second stage, participants completed test tasks in the subject “Fundamentals of Law,” demonstrating their knowledge of key legal concepts and legislative norms.
At the third stage, participants were given situational legal problems. The students analyzed the proposed cases and suggested solutions based on legal norms.
According to the results of the olympiad, the best participants were awarded diplomas of Grand Prix, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees.
This event became an important platform for identifying talented students, increasing their interest in research activities, and supporting the professional orientation of future lawyers.
In addition, the winners of the olympiad receive certain advantages when applying to Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University in accordance with the university’s admission rules.
