“TAZA KAZAKHSTAN”: STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY TOOK PART IN A CLEAN-UP DAY

As part of the nationwide environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan,” implemented on the initiative of the country’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a large-scale clean-up day was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

More than 500 students, master’s students, and faculty members took part in this meaningful event, actively engaging in cleaning the academic buildings and the campus территории.

Supporting the environmental initiative, young people noted that fostering a culture of careful and responsible attitude toward the environment is a shared task for all of society. This campaign is one of the important public initiatives aimed at implementing the principles of environmental responsibility proposed by the Head of State.

Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Nurymbet Saktaganov emphasized that efforts to develop environmental culture in the region are being carried out on a systematic basis. In turn, the university’s leadership highlighted the particular importance of active youth participation in such initiatives for society.

Rector of Amanzholov University, Mukhtar Tolegen, noted that the active involvement of young people in environmental initiatives is a clear demonstration of their civic responsibility.
