A TRADITIONAL “TALENTS OF THE EAST” COMPETITION WAS HELD AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a traditional regional creative competition, “Talents of the East,” was held as part of career guidance activities.

The main goal of the competition is to identify talented school students in the region, support their creative potential, and provide professional orientation for young people inclined toward the arts. This year, more than 100 participants from various districts of the region took part, presenting their creative performances to the audience.

The competition was held in two categories: “Vocal Performance” and “Instrumental Performance.” The participants demonstrated a high level of preparation and received strong evaluations from the jury.

As a result of the competition, an educational grant in the “Music Education” program at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University was awarded to Akylbayeva Tomiris, a student of School No. 15 in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Vocal Performance category:

1st place — Tolegen Beknur (Children’s Music School, Serebryansk);
2nd place — Omarbek Nurali (East Kazakhstan College of Culture named after the Abdullin Brothers);
2nd place — Kabit Samgar (S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University);
3rd place — Rinadkyzy Altynai (Palace of Schoolchildren’s Creativity, Ust-Kamenogorsk);
3rd place — Dautova Malika (S. Nurmagambetov School, Altai).

Instrumental Performance category:

1st place — Zhumadilova Kausar (student of the East Kazakhstan College of Culture named after the Abdullin Brothers);
2nd place — Trifonov Sergey (Children’s Music School, Ridder);
2nd place — Bolotov Artyom (East Kazakhstan College of Culture named after the Abdullin Brothers);
3rd place — Kairdinov Sanzhar (East Kazakhstan College of Culture named after the Abdullin Brothers);
3rd place — Ozatbek Meirban (S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University).

Such creative platforms not only help develop the talents of young participants but also assist them in choosing their future professional paths. The university will continue to support gifted youth.
