The XVI City Subject Olympiad “Oyla, Tap, Shesh” was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event was organized as part of the creative competition “Armandar Kerueni,” aimed at supporting gifted children and students with special educational needs.

The main goal of the Olympiad was to assess the level of functional literacy among elementary school students. Participants completed tasks in mathematics, Kazakh language, literature reading, world knowledge, natural science, and visual arts. The tasks were designed not only to test knowledge but also to develop logical thinking, creative abilities, and skills in applying knowledge to real-life situations.
The Olympiad took place in Academic Building No. 1 of the university from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Hosting the event at the university allowed students to experience the atmosphere of a scientific environment and increased their interest in learning.
The Olympiad demonstrated the high level of preparation of the younger students, as well as their eagerness for intellectual and creative development. Such events play an important role in the early identification and support of gifted children, laying the foundation for their future educational achievements.
